SPECIAL EDITION-ANNIKA DSIGN-Photo Art- Barnacle Streak
Annika Dsign panned this picture on the perfect single-file formation of Barnacle geese as they flew past her. Annika began photographing Stockholm’s nights in autumn 2013 where she lives today. Then she quickly moved on to landscape photography, as nature is closer to her heart. The Swedish island Gotland is a strong subject in her photography where the beauty of the landscape dominates. Animals and birds have inspired a lot of abstract photography in 2017, which defines her unique style. Ideally, Annika photographs during more extreme weather conditions ”when something’s happening”. Snowstorms and fog make scenes much more exciting. But, above all, she is constantly searching for magical light conditions. She is often described to have a unique image-language that inspires a special feeling. Annika’s pictures are an expression of her soul and photography is ”pure healing” for her and way to live in the here-and-now.
